| There is feeling in the school that children are important and the students are given lots ao opportunities to show leadership and a sense of pride in their school. The teachers are very dedicated and there is a great mix of experienced and new innovative staff. The Principal is gives students and staff fresh ideas for the future.Kellyville also has a strong arts background. There is a dedicated art teacher who allows students to produce some remarkable pieces of art work. The school also prides itself in dance and sporting events. The school also supports indiginous education and respects the local custodians of the land. Kellyville also has a proud tradition in the local area as being the school with historical sites, buildings and culture. | Some of the buildings are in the process of being renovated. New building upgrades should allow for the physical layout to be more cohesive. The playground needs tolevelled and resurfaced with proper child friendly surfaces. | Our first impressions of this school were very good. We felt welcomed, inspired and comfortabl. Our child has had an excellent intoduction to a public school education. He has gained many skills, knowledge, friendships and has overcome some hurdles with compassion and respect both from staff and parents. The school has a strong parent support group enables the group to purchase large items such as airconditioning, security fencing, technologies such as electronic whiteboards, computers, large projector screens, | ||
