Johns River Public School is situated just off the Pacific Highway 35 kms from Taree. This highway divides the community in two but does not divide the community spirit and the interest in the school. Our school promotes a safe and positive learning environment and being a small school we are able to cater for all individual students. We aim to develop all student's abilities in a challenging and positive way. We see the importance of the children understanding our challenging and changing society and of their own understanding of their intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and emotional development. We have many families attending this school which creates an atmosphere of support for all students. We have a large playing area where the students not only enjoy social activities, e.g., sport, but can also be involved with environmental and other learning activities.
