| Set in beautiful, tree-studded grounds in the Dooralong Valley, 10 minutes from Wyong, Jilliby Public School provides high quality infants and primary education for the children of this rural area and for those children whose parents seek an education for their child in the quiet, caring family atmosphere. The school is supported by a strong P&C Association and a cross-representative management structure. Both these bodies work collaboratively with the school to develop school plans and programs and to provide additional equipment and facilities. Jilliby Public School was established in 1889. The school is situated ten minutes from Wyong on the Central Coast and serves the semi rural community of Jilliby. The students are drawn mainly from hobby farms or large residential block developments in a ten kilometre radius from the school. Most students travel to school along a single bus route. Jilliby Public School aims to work with families to develop the whole child, academically, socially, physically and emotionally. In a safe, friendly and supportive environment, students are encouraged to enjoy learning, to play enthusiastically, to believe in their own worth and to show a concern for their environment. | ||||

| The good things about Jilliby Public school are the Teachers/Staff and the students who all bond together to form a caring, supportive community. | The only bad things to mention is the decline in student numbers and the lack of support from the community for the teachers/staff at jilliby. | An amazing little school with strong values and amazing teachers/staff. | ||
