Jiggi School is situated in a rural valley 20 kilometres north of Lismore. The 51 children currently enrolled in the school are drawn exclusively from the local area and travel to school by bus or car. The school is one of the focal points of community life in the valley and attracts outstanding levels of support and involvement from parents and community members. Jiggi School provides students with comprehensive, quality educational experiences in a positive, happy & caring environment. Through the school/community partnership, students are encouraged to reach their maximum potential while relating positively and co-operatively with others. The school acknowledges differences and individuality as positive attributes, while promoting tolerance, flexibility and adaptability in a culturally diverse and changing world. While the school provides a balanced curriculum for its students in all Key Learning Areas, there is a particular focus on art and craft. Classroom displays of student's work are a feature.
