Jerangle is a small, isolated but well resourced school located in the Monaro region of NSW. The district revolves around sheep/cattle industry, and all of the children come from local farms. The school itself was first established in 1884, and for most of the time it has remained a one-teacher school. All the children commute to school via a bus.
