| The teachers are a team of dedicated professionals who display a great deal of enthusiasm and support to the children and parents within the community. The school's motto is Strive to Improve and demonstrates consistent strong discipline. The school also focuses on the learning needs of all children. Is also known for being a Centre of Excellence in Literacy. | The classrooms are a little old and the technology is gradually being updated. However current Principal is putting the latest 3 million $ grant from the Federal Government into refurbishing and upgrading all classrooms with modern facility ie. technology. | Great programs including Summer & Winter PSSA programs. In addition music and the performing arts is offered at no additional $ and included in the curriculum. Tennis and Swimming (Indoor Pool) located next door as sport at reasonable price. Speech pathology Program, Reading Recovery Program, Enrichment Class Program introduced this year. Opportunity Class with great success to Selective Schools, such as: St George Girls, Sydney Technical High School, Sydney Boys & Girls, North Sydney Girls & Boys and Hurlstone Agricultural School.

| I attended open day this week. Most impressed with the display of the following items: Skipperoos (Skipping Troope) Choir, Music display (Recorders) Art competition. Education Expos available in each class which included science demonstrations such as water testing, volcanic eruptions and the like. OUTSTANDING! | Still trying to find the bad... however this school seems to be on the up and up. | National Testing Results from 2008 Year 3 compared to national average: Reading 95% above Writing 96% " Spelling 99% " Punctuation & Grammar 96% Numeracy 97% " Year 5 2008 compared to national average: Reading 94% above Writing 96% " Spelling 98%" Punctuation & Grammer 97% Numeracy 93%" | ||
