Hannam Vale School serves a rural community situated in the Manning region. Built in 1892, the school and its setting provide a constant reminder of the area's history. Students come from a variety of farms, the historic Waitui Mill village as well as subdivided rural lots. All students are conveyed to school by private transport. Hannam Vale is a class five school experiencing a decrease in enrolments. This may result in the loss of one class for the beginning of 2001. The school's aim is to provide an environment where a school day is about caring, learning, success, achievement and fun. We believe all students have the potential to learn and the right to expect quality teaching in all areas of school life. Hannam Vale School provides programs which encourage students to develop to their full potential in a safe, caring, supportive environment. Parents, teachers and community members work together in the learning process, developing students for their future.
