Glenquarry Public School is a small, semi-rural school located in the Southern Highlands of N.S.W. The school is committed to its students, community and excellence. Students are cared for individually in a safe, friendly, pleasant and structured environment and encouraged to always give of their best; an expectation shared by all. Children are developed as whole people and it is our belief that they should: be given an optimum preparation for secondary education; be provided with the opportunity to lead a healthy lifestyle; be developed as responsible citizens; be able to contribute to the life of their community; be able to adapt to a changing future. The school's curriculum is enhanced by its involvement in the use of computer technology. Year 5 students use a notebook computer as their exercise book and have done so since 1994.
