| Glenhaven Public School is located in a natural bush setting on Glenhaven Road. It is in an established area drawing from the local Glenhaven community. The school enjoys excellent community relationships and a very supportive parent body. At Glenhaven we are committed to developing each child's full potential by: providing a sound basic skills program; ensuring a happy, stimulating and secure learning environment; recognising and catering for individual talents and needs; developing each child's self-esteem and fostering a caring attitude towards others; establishing close parent/teacher relationships and involving parents in the life of the school. All of these goals are encompassed in our mission which states "Striving for Excellence within a Nurturing Environment". Glenhaven has an excellent Performing Arts Program, this year winning several Eisteddfods and two major awards at the State Wakikirri Finals. A comprehensive band and choir program is also a credit to the school, resulting in performances at the Olympics Welcoming Ceremonies for the athletes. | ||||
