| Gladesville Public School was established in 1878 and has a heritage and tradition that are recognised and valued by the current school community and its large number of ex-students. The location in the heart of the commercial centre assists the school in maintaining a high profile and involvement with the local community, highlighted with its close links to the Gladesville RSL and the Gladesville Chamber of Commerce. The school combines with its community to provide a positive, caring and stimulating learning environment. Because of our relatively small size, emphasis is placed on the student as an individual. Needs are clearly identified with the full range of school and district resources devoted to achieving successful outcomes. Gladesville Public School's Mission Statement commits the school to: developing a sound grounding in basic skills; providing experiences that cater for the individual needs of students; fostering a safe, caring and secure environment that promotes self esteem, respect and a sense of belonging to our school community. | ||||
