Five Dock P.S. is located in an inner western suburb of Sydney. It was established in 1861. The facilities are a mix of traditional and modern architecture. The school reflects community values, encourages learning and rewards effort. Opportunities are provided for parent participation and decision making.

Overall:

I have had several grandchildren attend Five Dock Public School.All have had positive experiences and found the teachers to be extremely compet ent and caring.Indeed with our grand-daughter have gone above and bey ond with their efforts. The children always looked forward to going to school and loved attending OOSH where the staff were also very caring and sens itive.I would recommend this school to anyone without any hesitation.

I can't think of any.

Good sports programme. School grounds contin ually being upgraded - they have recently included a long jump pit. The school is made up of a diverse student body and my grand- children (being of Af rican descent)were made to feel very welcome.
