| Eastwood Heights Public School is situated in extensive leafy grounds in the Sydney suburb of Eastwood, near Ryde. We have a cosmopolitan mix of cultures as 69% of our students come from a non-English speaking background. Our enrolment of 390 students is spread across 14 classes. Excellent facilities include a library, computer room, music room, band room and dedicated science room. Our oval and all-weather court provide students with plenty of opportunity to participate in a variety of sporting activities, fitness programs and general play. A major building program, to be completed in August 2004, will provide an assembly hall, new canteen, four classrooms and an administration block. | ||||

| Teachers care. Pastoral care is important as well as academic results. Self discipline is encouraged while infractions are dealt with by having students look at their own behaviour. | Nothing is perfect and complacency can occasionally be a problem.
