| Denistone East Public School is a Primary Class 1 situated in north western Sydney. The learning community of our school seeks to provide for all students: quality teaching and learning experiences within a balanced curriculum that enables all students to develop the skills and attitudes needed to be lifelong learners in an ever-changing society; an effective partnership between school and the community which seeks to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for all students. | The school has a swimming pool that was donated by parents | The staff in the office are very bureaucratic and not in a good way. They are more hung up on what street people live in rather than what parents and children can contribute to the school on a whole. | Wouldn't send my child there. Too many classes, not personal enough. Unfortunately the office staff don't back up the facilities of the school | ||

| Facilities. Grounds. | Obsession with academic results and testing at the cost of developing well-rounded socially-responsible creative independent learners. No soul to the school or sense of fun. Focus of resources and energy on retaining gifted and talented students in Year 5 from going to OC classes elsewhere. Few excursions. | This school is for the well-studied students who like coaching and extra homework but not necessarily for the naturally gifted and talented. Average and below-average students are a bit lost/ignored in the system and this can affect their self-esteem. | ||

| The facilities are very good and the teachers are all wonderful and very caring. | Cannot think of any 'bad' things. | All my children have attended or are attending the school and I am very satisfied. | ||
