Carramar Public School serves a culturally diverse community and receives funding support from the Disadvantaged Schools' Program. Since its establishment in 1924, students have come from a mixture of public and private housing developments. Most students live within one kilometre of the school. The school community shares a commitment to providing a safe, stimulating environment where there is a focus on active participation in learning. The school motto "Learning To Live" reflects the ethos of our school.
