Campbellfield Public School is located near the Government Housing Estate in Minto. A number of students come from the private housing areas adjoining the school; however, the majority come from the nearby Government Housing Estate where many of the families are support dependent. The school focuses on providing a sound education which has an increasing computer component. The school enjoys support for Aboriginal students, for those from Non English Speaking Backgrounds and generally through the Disadvantaged Schools Program.
