Bellambi Public School is located in a medium density residential area made up of both private and public housing. The school receives support from the Disadvantaged Schools' Program (DSP) which aims for overall improvement of education outcomes for socio-economically disadvantaged students and their community. The school has established strong links with its community and enjoys support from local businesses and service clubs. The Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre provides a valuable service to the children of the school through its Breakfast Program. The school holds a strong belief that to create the best learning opportunities for the children of the school parents, teachers and community need to work as partners. Student welfare is a feature of the school's operation. We are committed to providing a learning environment where children develop key competencies which can be transferred to new situations, to creating a secure environment which allows children to develop a love of learning, a sense of well-being and to building a positive self concept of the school.
