Batemans Bay Primary School exists for it's students. We believe it is our joint responsibility to foster a friendly, caring and creative learning environment where all are encouraged to reach their academic and social potential. The school is composed of students from many backgrounds with eighteen per cent of the population being indigenous. The interactions which occur both in the classroom and playground provide students with real life experiences for their future within the broader community. It is expected that children who leave the school will be thinking decision makers who are informed and able to accept individual responsibility. They will be keen investigators who are able to communicate confidently and will have begun to develop into responsible global citizens , who will try to improve quality of life for others.
