Bass Hill Public School aims to provide an education of excellence for all children by treating them as individuals in a caring, stimulating and secure environment. Our school is on the Disadvantaged Schools Program (DSP) which provides additional funding to support the implementation of our literacy, numeracy and technology programs. The school's culture fosters the development of responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, initiative, respect and individual dignity and worth. Harmonious, caring school tone and a strong sense of community is enhanced by active community participation, the wearing of school uniform and an acceptance of individual differences in an atmosphere of mutual respect. The school motto "We Strive to Serve" is reflected in policies and programs implemented in the school and in the positive, personal interactions between students, staff and community members.
