Bald Face Public School is a small, community based school in the riverside suburb of Blakehurst in Sydney's South. As a learning community, incorporating students, parents and staff, the school provides varied and quality educational programs which caters for the needs of its students. Children are helped to grow as creative, responsible and independent thinkers and cooperative, tolerant and caring citizens.
Our learning community work together by providing an environment that: Is safe and secure yet stimulating and challenging; responds to individual needs; promotes student success, self confidence, a sense of personal worth and all round development; engenders a love of learning, positive attitudes and the effective acquisition of basic skills; and lays the foundation of lifelong learning. The main curriculum focus is on the acquisition of the basic skills of literacy and numeracy. Additionally we provide many Creative and Performing Arts, Sport and Student Welfare programs.
