| Well resourced little school with small class sizes, means all students get plenty of attention & one-on-one time with teachers. | Not enough locals are sending their kids to Albury West, preferring the bigger schools in town, resulting in a drop in student numbers & risking a reduction in teaching resources. | Glad we chose Albury West. | ||

| Albury West has a very varied socio/economic and race mixture of students. This teaches all students that whilst people are different, all people get the same great treatment. My two children went there and they learnt heaps more than if they went to a 'selective' type school. Overall academic results are one of the best in the area. | Perception by some ignorant people that it is the "Valley" school. | I would send my children to Albury West again. The P&C raises heaps of money each year and spends it all on what the children and teachers want and need. The staff are great, dedicated and caring. Want to know more for yourself? Ignore rumours, visit the school and talk to staff, students and parents. You will be happily surprised with their loyality to their great school. | ||

| This schools is bright and cheery. It has a terrifically dedicated teaching staff. It is also extremely well resourced in terms of library resources, readers for Stage 1 and from an IT perspective the electronic whiteboards in every classroom have improved teaching techniques and student capability dramatically. | There are no bad things about Albury West. It has provided both of my children with a fabulous start in life. They are confident, happy, intelligent children. | Being a small school Albury West has afforded my children the ability to develop a strong sense of identity from an early age. From Kindergarten children are encouraged to get up and participate at the weekly school assembly. The teachers know most of the children in the school. Likewise the children know each other from Year 6 through to Kindergarten. In my view this is a lot more conducive to confidence building than some of the centrally located primary schools which have large enrolment numbers, limited resources per capita and limited play areas in proportion to the student numbers. Albury West is the BEST!!! | ||
