| The teaching staff The new outside area The progressive governing council | Athelstone Kindy shares the carpark with Athelstone library, so on accasion parking at peak times can be a slight issue. | W ecould not be happier with the care and learning that our child recieves. | ||

| The staff are welcoming and genuinely care about the children. You can tell the children love being there. The variety of activities and programme offered is great, communication with parents is fantastic, and it has a warm community feel about it. Lunchtime care is great for me too. | Can't think of any. Parking can be difficult but pick up times have been extended to cater for this so not really an issue. | My daugter loved this kindy and still asks to go back to visit her teachers. My second daughter will also attend this kindy and loves coming to the playgroup held there. The kids are happy, you know they're in great care and learning, what more could you ask for. | ||

| Do full days and lunch time care but charge a fortune and practically make you produce a stat dec to prove you are working | New Director is very ordinary and seems to enjoy the power of treating parents like naughty children. | I thought that kindy should be a time of start your child's learning journey not a time of being told constantly what your child isn't doing. I am dissapointed that this is my child's first learning experience and after reading the reviews of another local preschool have decided that there is better out there. I would reccomend that parents go else where I have heard constant compliants in the two terms my child has been there from so many parents it is frightening. | ||

| The teaching staff are fantastic - they are genuinely interested in and care for the children, and every day there are new and stimulating activities set up ready for the kids. The staff all know my daughter very well, and she loves going to kindy. They offer full days and lunchtime care, which is great. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about when she said she had to prove she was working in order for her child to be given a full day. I don't work, and simply asked for a full day for my child and was given one, no questions asked! The outdoor areas/playground are brand new and the kids have a ball on the equipment. | Car parking, but that's really a minor issue. There's really nothing else | Athelstone Preschool is a fantastic kindy. The teachers are very involved and caring, the programmes they offer really stimulate the kids and get them interested in learning more about the world around them. I highly recommend it! | ||
