| We aim to provide a high quality early childhood service which is focused on the development of secure attachment relationships between staff and children, partnerships with families and a robust early learning program for all children. Halifax Street is a Community based Long Day Care Centre offering quality child care and preschool education to children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. | The location's convenient for city workers like us. The upgraded playground is great. There's LOTS of room. The director was progressive and a great leader. When we too holidays we only had to pay half fees. | It's soo big and busy for a little, sensitive guy. My son just never settled there - the centre was just too large for him. We left and he's settled immediately into a small local centre. The place was so big staff really couldn't supervise all children. The staff kept changing. I can't count how many carers he had. My daughter attended the kindergarten for two terms and NEVER bought anything home. As soon as we left we discovered she is both intellectually gifted and has a learning disability and her teachers never noticed anything, despite our regular questions. | My husband and I loved the place, but the kids didn't!! That's saying something. We changed to a scruffy, small, local centre (where we are charged full fees even for taking a long holiday) but the children for some reason became very happy!! Go figure. | ||

| Warm, attachment based care techniques. Loads of qualified staff. Great activities. Brilliant director. | Nothing! I cant fault this place...I mean the facilities are a little old but the resources aren't and the environment still looks good. | Great centre. This is our third and after two terrible ones Halifax Street is not only good, it's brilliant! | ||
