Anglicare has two first class child care centres, conveniently located at Kingswood and Prospect.
Each offers flexible care for families—they are the next best thing to a parent’s love!
Both centres care for care for 90 children: babies from six weeks to children up to five years old. And both centres provide plenty of space to run and play.
Anglicare Child care centres use the South Australian Curriculum Standards Accountability (SACSA) framework, designed by the Education Department for children from birth–Year 12. It’s not compulsory in child care, but we know this curriculum gives our kids the edge.
Both our centres are fully accredited, for the maximum 2.5 years.
Our staff are experienced and many are qualified in early childhood education. We know how important continuity is for kids, and we are proud that some of our staff have been with us for 15, 20, even 30 years.
Both Daphne Street and Wanslea offer educational pre-school programs and music programs.
At Anglicare, we work very hard to tailor programs to the child’s and family’s individual needs.

Overall:

They use the learn with playing methods. So my Daughter can experiance a wide rangs of activites while learning about her world and suroundings. They care for every child and it shokes me sometimes that all staff know whats going on with my Daughter. The food they feed to the children is great its an awsome variety.

they are only open till 6:30 and sometimes thats limiting in case i have meetings or other commitments.

I hunted a long time for a good child care. I looked at all the once avalible some the kids seemed poorly supervised and it was a sit infront of the TV atmosphere. Where others just seems not friendly and slightly off putting. Wanslea was bye far the best out of the 10 odd care places we visited it was so good we thought about moving at one point but when we looked at the child cares in the new area desided to stay where we were so we could still use Wanslea. My child needed some special care and insisted that the only male carer there carry her around when she firt started going there. She wasnt even in his section but he did it all the same without complaint and looked after her till she was ready to branch out on her own. Thats the personal service they offer and thats why i wont move my Daughter till she is ready to go to Primary school

Overall:

Great carers, really take an interest in your childs needs. Their interaction is loving/caring rather than plain professional. All carers seem to know about my daughter including all my requests - even if they work in different rooms! Interesting learning and development program. We love experiencing what knowledge she brings home! I love that carers ring me to let me know little things out of the ordinary - good and bad! The transition program from room to room is brilliant!
